The Christian life can be compared to a round of golf in many ways. Imagine a brand-new golfer standing on the first tee. They have new clubs, new balls, and perhaps even a new outfit. People are watching. They feel nervous. They swing—and the ball dribbles ten yards. They swing again—a slice. Another swing—they top it. Yet despite these imperfect shots, one thing remains true: they are in the game. They have begun.

God, our Creator, is so big that He holds all of heaven and earth in His hands, yet He is so near that He dwells within us.

Are you hungry for something real? Are you thirsty for a better life—a life marked by holiness, purpose, and peace with God? Jesus says, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink.” (John 7:37, ESV) And “...whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.” (John 6:35, ESV)

When our focus shifts from ourselves to God—when we seek righteousness for His honor, not merely for our benefit—God promises to fill us.

Let us live with awe and obedience, comforted and sobered by the God who sees us—and saved by the Savior who gave Himself for us.

A lot of people think faith is just for those big, spiritual moments—like when you’re at a church service or deep in thought. But honestly, faith is so much more than that. It’s something that’s part of our everyday lives, quietly woven into all the little moments. Think of it like a gentle stream that gradually shapes the land around it; the small things we do each day can gently shape our hearts and minds, too, often in ways we don’t even notice at first. The world may redefine or ignore truth, but God’s truth remains. Let’s embrace His Word, live courageously, speak gently, and shine brightly.

God will never force you to love or follow Him. True love can never be coerced; it can only be offered and received.

If we accept a “Jesus” who is less than the Word made flesh (John 1:14)—if we accept a merely human prophet, a phantom, or an abstract ideal—we miss out on everything God longs to give us: forgiveness, reconciliation, purpose, and joy.

Relationships both bless and challenge us. Yet as believers, we’re not left to our own strength. The Holy Spirit enables us to put away bitterness and anger and to embody kindness, compassion, and forgiveness. In doing so, we reflect Jesus to a world that longs for hope and healing.

If churches embrace these Five “E’s,” they become places where grace is experienced, faith grows, and every member is empowered to serve.

Are we witnessing the fulfillment of ancient prophecy, or merely the cycles of history repeating themselves in a technological age? The answer may lie not only in the signs themselves but also in how each society—and each soul—responds.

How, then, should Christians respond in a culture that increasingly meets faith with skepticism, indifference, or even animosity?

Come clean, America—and stand up. For justice, for righteousness, for all God’s children. That’s how “His truth marches on.”

As Christians navigate a world increasingly marked by religious pluralism, secular ideologies, and challenges to biblical truth, the question arises: How can believers faithfully resist Satan's wiles and the spread of anti-Christ teachings—whether through secular liberalism, Islam, or other belief systems?

How did Jesus “fish for men”? By meeting tangible needs and extending compassion.

Jesus still asks: “Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do what I tell you?”

Let us strive to be stewards God can trust—wise, generous, and focused on the world to come.

As you, new graduates, embark on life’s journey, remember: your choices matter. They shape your life here—and your eternity.

Sometimes loving our neighbors means offering refuge or dignity—other times, it means using whatever strength we have to protect, shield, and liberate the oppressed.
